ReBRIGHT® IPL is the latest medical-grade intense pulsed light technology.
It uses light to address pigmentation, discoloration, and thread / spider veins by selectively heating and eliminating them directly to help provide a more even skin tone, dramatically reducing the appearance of ageing skin.
What is Rebright IPL used to treat?
Ageing skin isn't just about the lines and wrinkles we incur but also the noticeable discoloration of our skin through various factors, such as sun damage, including pigmentation and sunspots. Vascular outbreaks and areas of redness and small vessels are also common. Most people get these around the nose and cheeks as they age.
Dr Paulina uses medical IPL technology at her clinic in Sevenoaks to treat a wide range of concerns, from pigmented lesions to red veins, spider veins and capillaries, redness, and sunspots.
How does Rebright IPL work?
In IPL the light is absorbed by pigmented cells such as vascular irregularities or general sun damage cells in the skin, destroying them by light energy, which results in a flawless, 'airbrushed-like' appearance, dramatically reducing the impression of ageing skin.
It also stimulated collagen production resulting in improved skin texture and tone.
Skin texture will improve, showing softer, less visible pores and smoother, more uniform colour. Some fine lines and wrinkles may improve or be removed.

IPL treatment results can typically last for around a year as our skin ages and new pigmentation and vessels can form. Still, with proper maintenance treatments, your results can last much longer, especially if you protect your skin from the sun

Dr Paulina does not recommend Rebright IPL if you have sun-tanned skin. There must be a minimum of four weeks since UV exposure, and any change in skin colour must have completely dropped for Rebright IPL to be used on the skin.
You should also not have this treatment if you have fake-tanned skin or have been using tinted moisturisers. You must not have applied fake tan within the past 10-14 days.
