Skin Analysis at Our Clinic

Skin analysis is a critical first step in understanding your skin’s unique needs. At Dr Paulina's clinic, we believe that a thorough understanding of your skin's condition allows us to create personalised and effective treatment plans.

By examining the health of your skin, from its surface layers to its subsurface structure, we can identify issues like pigmentation, sensitivity, hydration levels, and more.

This process helps us recommend treatments and products that will yield the best results, ensuring you achieve healthier and more radiant skin.

What is the Skin Analyser?

The Skin Analyser is an advanced device that provides a comprehensive 3D facial skin analysis. It uses multi-spectral imaging to capture detailed images, allowing us to assess both surface and subsurface skin conditions. It is a vital tool for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

How does multi-spectral image analysis work?

Multi-spectral image analysis technology allows the Skin Analyser to take images using various light spectra, including:

  • Day-light
  • Cross-Polarized light
  • Parallel-Polarised light
  • UV Ultraviolet light
  • Woods light

This range of imaging techniques reveals 12 key skin concerns, providing a detailed view of your skin's health and helping to identify issues like pigmentation, sensitivity, hydration, and more.

What skin conditions can the Skin Analyser detect?

The Skin Analyser can identify a wide range of skin conditions, including:

  • Sensitivity and sensitised areas
  • Barrier function
  • Surface and deep pigmentation
  • Photodamage
  • Lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity
  • Scarring, pores, and acne
  • Hydration levels
  • Circulation and oxygenation levels

This analysis helps us detect and diagnose underlying skin issues and develop a more personalised treatment plan, tailored to your skin’s specific needs.
