Molluscum:
Molluscum is a viral infection that causes small bumps on the surface of the skin. These bumps tend to be round with a dimple in the center and may have an irregular shape.
The color ranges from pinkish-white to yellowish-brown depending on their age. It is important not to scratch or pick at these bumps as it can cause further irritation and spread the virus even more widely across your body.
Verrucae (Warts):
Verrucae are caused by a virus called human papillomavirus (HPV). They appear as raised growths on the surface of your skin which often have black dots inside them due to clotted blood vessels beneath them. Warts can range in size from tiny pinpricks up to several centimeters wide and they can occur anywhere on your body including hands, feet, face etc..
Treatment for warts includes freezing with liquid nitrogen or using topical creams containing salicylic acid over time until they disappear completely.
Skin Tags:
Skin tags are benign tumors made up of collagen fibers which form around hair follicles when excess amounts accumulate under our skins’ surfaces causing lumps/bumps that hang off our bodies like little flaps attached by thin stalks/stems; hence why they’re also referred to “acrochordons” meaning ‘hanging fleshy protrusions'.
Although harmless most people find them unsightly so removal options include cutting off with scissors after numbing area first or working with Dr Paulina to freeze tag away via cryotherapy procedure - both methods being relatively painless and successful.
