Pricing rising significantly

## Mounjaro Price Increase – What this means for your Weight Loss Journey

From **1st September 2025**, the manufacturer **Lilly** is increasing Mounjaro prices significantly across the UK and Europe.

I would like to help you to attempt to secure stock at the current price, before a price increase takes effect. This is subject to supply and availability from Lilly and its distributors.

**Why are Mounjaro prices increasing?**

Lilly is a US-based company, and due to **international trade tariffs** and global price alignment, Mounjaro prices in the UK and EU are being adjusted to match those in America.

- Pens up to **10mg** → expected to be around **double the current price**
- Pens at **12.5mg and 15mg** → expected to be around **triple the current price**

This change will affect **all new prescriptions from 1st September 2025**.

**What does this mean for my patients?**

Because I run a **doctor-led dispensing clinic**, I don’t use middleman pharmacies. This means I can personally manage your treatment and deliver:

- **Direct stock** with long expiry dates (currently **Jan–Feb 2027**)
- **Priority availability**
- **Better value and continuity of care**

**Consultation and Care Fees**

- **New patient consultation: £150**
- **Ongoing monthly care package: £250/month**  
    (includes unlimited GP consultations with me, Mounjaro supply regardless of the dose, dispensed monthly)

**Prepayment option**: You can pre-pay for **3, 6, or 12 months** at today’s price.  
Your treatment and care will be dispensed on demand but secured in advance at the current rate.

*This Prepayment option, is subject to stock availability at the time of payment.*

**Your options**

**Pre-order now at current prices**

- Secure your treatment for 3, 6, or even 12 months, at today’s current cost
- If you’re stable on your dose, depending on an individual assessment, I can look to dispense up to few months of your treatment in advance
- If you’re still adjusting, you can pre-pay now and I will hold your stock securely, dispensing appropriate dose medication as needed over the 2, 6 or 12 months

**Switch to Wegovy (alternative option)**

**Continue at the new price**

- If you choose not to pre-order, your prescription will follow the **new higher pricing from 1st September**

**Adjust or pause treatment**

- Some patients choose to decrease the dose of the medication. It may take slightly longer to achieve your target weight but has a better safety profile and could offer a better value over time
- If you wish to stop, I will create a **safe discontinuation plan** tailored to your needs

If you are currently receiving Mounjaro elsewhere, you are welcome to transfer your care. Simply email **hello@drcharlesworth.co.uk** with a copy of your current prescription we can book a review to design your bespoke weight loss package before the price change.
